When Dior opened the doors to its brand new, four-storeyed Peter Marino-designed boutique in London’s trendy Mayfair neighbourhood last month, it also unveiled its very first exclusive home collection—probably the home line we’ve all been waiting for, even if we hadn’t realized it yet. Christian Dior once said that “living in a house that doesn’t reflect who you are is akin to wearing someone else’s clothes,” and we are inclined to agree.
The collection is designed in the same spirit and level of sophistication that Christian Dior himself decorated his homes in Paris, Milly-la-Fort, and La Colle Noire in Provence, and each piece in the collection would instantly up your living style. The collection taps into the classic elegance the maison is known for, featuring gold couture stitch-embellished crystal glassware, a selection of teas inspired by Dior’s most beloved fragrances, and unique one-of-a-kind creations by creative types like India Mahdavi, Hubert le Gall, Peter Marino, and Lucie de la Falaise. And Dior promises that more exciting collaborations like these will keep customers coming back for more. We know we’ll be back, that’s for sure.
