Call it the Milan appeal, call it whatever you like, but Milan Fashion Week is undeniably the most glamorous of them all. Still, there are two sides to the Milano party. On one side we have designers like Miuccia Prada and Peter Dundas who play on days gone by with retro collections, while other creative minds like MSGM’s Massimo Giorgetti (appointed creative director of Emilio Pucci just last year), strive to bring a completely new and contemporary look to the Italian fashion scene. There was a plethora of gowns, beading and jewellery, but above all, the transitional outerwear—a spring must-have—got us pretty excited.
