Prepare your popcorn and block off a spot in your schedule for a binge-watching session because Netflix’s upcoming series The Crown is about to hijack your life.

Set in the later years of her father’s unexpected reign, the premise surrounds the United Kingdom’s future leader, 25-year-old Elizabeth II. Starring Claire Foy, Matt Smith, and John Lithgow, and written by none other than Peter Morgan, a dramatist that has spent his life exploring the dramatization of the Queen, the series explores the relationship between the crown and parliament, as Morgan’s 2013 play The Audience did. With The Crown‘s ominous score, dry wit, robust cast, and minute attention to historical details (paired with a healthy dose of imagination), there is no doubt the show will be catapulted into mega-cultdom, as so many of Netflix’s productions have. And with its second 10-part season already in the works, you can be sure it’s good.

The Crown premieres on Netflix on November 4th, 2016.
